Students join St Albans College because they are attracted by our small class sizes, excellent teaching and more informal setting. They benefit from our friendly, supportive and individually tailored educational environment.
The College offers an extensive range of A-level courses, specifications and exam boards. A-level courses can be taken over the course of two years, alternatively AS, A2 and complete A-levels can be taken over the course of a year.
One key aspect of our A-level programme is the flexibility it offers. Any combination of AS, A2 and full one-year A-levels can normally be offered.
Students can choose from a wide choice of subjects and there are no constraints on the combinations which may be taken.
We are very happy to discuss individual requirements at interview.
‘Students achieve well in their A-level studies. This is because the teaching is good and their motivation to succeed is very high. Coursework is neat, well presented and well organised, and students clearly benefit from the extra study skills sessions they attend’
